COMPANY HISTORY

This company is 100% family owned. It was established in fifties known as Balik Singh & Sons headed by S.Ajaib Singh, Initially this unit was set up to make sewing machine parts and its machinery was being imported. To save precious foreign exchange at that time, this unit took up the challange and started manufacturing that machinery here to meet the requirement of sewing machine industry and others. With this innovation, Sr.Ajaib Singh earned world-wide recognition and he was given many awards by Indian as well as foreign dignitaries. The Machine in Picture below was the First ever Machine which was Manufactured by Baco Smith. This unit has also the credit of being the first in India to manufacture: 

›› Rim Punching & Rim Straightening Machines & Thread Milling Machines as substitute of import of these machines.

Later on in the year : 1983, the above unit was merged into our parent unit-M/s. Baco Smith headed by S. Darshan Singh this unit has also many records of innovation at its credit to manufacture the following machine first time in India :

  ›› Small Hyd. Thread Rolling Machines & Three Roll Type Hyd. Thread Rolling Machines.

This unit has two divisions : Machine Tools (M/s. Baco Smith) & Cutting Tools (M/s. Tesa Singh Tools) which are duly equipped with modern facilities for design, development & manufacturing of machine tools and are manned by qualified personnel with proven record of technical knowledge.

We continue to upgrade our technology keening in view the present scenario of the market & as per the requirement of our customers.
